I would have loved to have seen The Shadows. :P

I had/have somewhere just about every single they released in their golden years. Wonderful Land was the #1 British Hit of the 60s, ahead of The Beatles, Stones, Elvis, etc.

As I have been told by numerous PM's I nominated a song that was already nominated, I apologize for this, I was not able to be online for more than about 5 minutes yesterday due to training. I didn't even scroll up to see the others as I normally do. So here are my nominations...

Ambrosia ~ Holding On To Yesterday

The Spinners ~ Mighty Love

Well I see I wasn't able to get my nominations in fast enough...thanks for waiting. I will not be voting in this batch of nominations.

Now I feel really bad... I could have waited for two more minutes...

Of course you still can vote on the list -- "Holding on to Yesterday" is still nominated...

This list of nominees had 25+ of my all-time favorites, that I almost omitted my 2 picks, but I didn't want my partner to be upset.

I wanted to include "Aquarius", & Chuck Berry, Jefferson Airplane, etc.

I would've voted "Ramble On" & "Teacher" had they been a different song by the same artist. Sorry.
