tracy8365
This will probably make no sense to anyone but here goes:- Back in my clubbing hay day around 94/95 the club I went to regularly played this dance track. I never knew the words but I always used to sing "Yak yak yak e yak, yak yak yak yak" Anybody have any idea what the song is called and who it is by? If you can make sense of that then a big pat on the back for you. Thanks Edited June 22, 2006 by Guest Query has been answered
Farin
Hi Tracy The first thing that came to my mind is "return to Innocence" by Enigma. (because there is some kind of Indian chant) But that isn't it, probably... You said, you never knew the words, but it was english, wasn't it? Did it really sound like "yak, yak"? Do you remember wether it was male or female vocals?
blind-fitter
Are you sure it wasn't "Yak yak e yak-yak, e yak yak yak", rather than "Yak yak yak e yak, yak yak yak yak"? I ask because I can just about remember, back in my clubbing heyday, singing along to these words myself. To "Wrote For Luck" by The Happy Mondays..... .... and "Voodoo Ray" (A Guy Called Gerald). Oh , and Electribe 101's "Tell Me When The Fever Ended". In fact, I think I was going "yak yak e yak-yak," for about 6 hours, including the bus journey home.
