Don't Get Hooked On Me - Mac Davis

The only song by Mac Davis I know, but I really love it!

To Sir With Love - Lulu A great song by the little Scottish girl with the BIG voice.

CanAm you can count on my vote for Lulu's all time favourite. Cheers!

Edna said: Yes, how comes Patti Smith's "Gloria" didn't make the Top Ten weeks ago????

Edna, after hearing Patti's version of Gloria I thought I'd nominate the real one by Van The Man/ Them. She does sound a bit like him, but he's a bit prettier, I think.

I like his hairdo - it's similar to mine.

Being it is father's day in the states and I just got back from putting fresh flowers on dad's grave I am going to nominate as my first song the song that dad said reminded him of his life. The words to this song were read in eulogy at my dad's funeral.

The song "Like A Rock" by Bob Seger.

My number two nomination is a solo act by a rock legend that was a member of several groups that were also legendary. I like the steel drums in this song. It gives it a Carribean flavor.

"Love The One Your With" Stephen Stills.

"If you can't be with the one you love honey, love the one your with". Stephen Stills. On a second thought this could get you into trouble.

I didn't know it was credited to him solo. David Crosby and Graham Nash sang "backup" and I was surprised to see that John Sebastian and Rita Coolidge did also.

Well I can cross a few songs off my LISTA.

Smooth Operator, Eye In The Sky, Ode To Billie Joe, Son Of A Preacher Man...

It's going to make it tough voting though. :P

That's why I prefer Patti... her hairdo is similar to mine.

Please, stop now! This one is going to be impossible!

Oh, yes! CeeCee is right, I believe this time I will have to choose 20...

Yesterday I was singing "To sir with love" for hours... :P
