Red Fish
Man, I'm sorta surprised that Soul Man didn't get much. I guess those other songs I'm not familiar must kick some rhino hiney. Oh well.
Farin
Man, I'm sorta surprised that Soul Man didn't get much. It would have been in my Top 15. I would have rated it higher, if it was The Blues Brothers' version...
Tenacious_Peaches
.... Am I just feverish or did bazooka just show an inkling of human emotion? No, that couldn't be. Quick, someone hand me a cold compress and a bottle of orange baby aspirin, please.
Steel2Velvet
Am I just feverish or did bazooka just show an inkling of human emotion? No, that couldn't be. Quick, someone hand me a cold compress and a bottle of orange baby aspirin, please. I think you were correct with the above boldened portion of your thoughts and perhaps misinterpreted his motivation for sending the balloon message, Peaches. It wasn't to aid you in a time of feverish distress; he simply wanted to alleviate your symptoms in order for you to continue your reverence toward him. Had this not been accurate, he would have simply sent you a get well without referencing the "why" by including your quote with the balloon message. Carry on. Tenacious_Peaches
Spectacular, Ron. You always know just how to interpret things. I may have to add you to the list of people I worship every five minutes, too.
Steel2Velvet
I can't guarantee results, but if it jiggles your coins, have at it. On the other hand, my omniscient wife might not appreciate me being worshipped by another woman. But what the heck .... she doesn't have to know. Sweet Jane 61
Since we have not had a female artist or female group hit number 1, I am doing a lot of research and hopefully will have two nominations for the next Top 10 that might hit number 1, trying to get just the right song! Tenacious_Peaches
But what the heck .... she doesn't have to know. She'll know, Ron. Trust me, she'll know. I'll just worship you quietly all to myself. Maybe that will keep you out of the dog house.

TheTallOne
For the right 'tribute', bazooka might consider allocating a license to let you refer to yourself in the third person. It's tres* Imperial. Recommended by Bob Dole and Bo Diddley. But RonJonSurfer is in line ahead of you. -------------------------------- *hella Wait, Connor can get a license? bazooka
Wait, Connor can get a license? No. The license could be made available to 'TheTallOne' only. Connor has no life. bazooka gives preference, though, to short people.

OLD 55
You impatient little 1.57m. Devil, you. It's great to see such enthusiasm though. Let's admit it. Most of us are competitive and would like a #1. That wise man, Uncle Joe, had his SECOND #1 with Sunshine Of Your Love. Maybe he should be restricted to nominating Phil Collins, Michael Bolton, Barry Manilow, etc. songs ! What do you think ? Also TallOne and rt if they keep on making the Ten - 2 each last time. Sweet Jane says she'll have it all sewn up this time. I can't wait to see what girl songs she comes up with. Janis almost made #1 last Ten ! That shows that re-nominations can work sometimes. It got nearly double the points it did first time round.
Farin
We won't start the new Top Ten before tomorrow, so you still have time to think of new nominations Meanwhile you now can start voting on the Top Ten Worst Songs There we have 116 nominations, It's gonna get tough... OLD 55
Don't worry Connor. You don't want to look like Yoda. More hair than him I have; of course than me 800 older years he be.
bazooka
Are you kidding? The Blues Brothers cover is virtually a carbon copy of the original right down to Steve Cropper on guitar, except that Belushi and Aykroyd couldn't hold a candle to the vocal brilliance of Sam Moore and Dave Prater
