Great job as usual guys! I never mind if anything makes it to the top ten anyway. I enjoy seeing all the nominations. They remind me of songs I may not have listened to in a long time. A thumbs up for the list, and our Captains, Darryl and Farin!

I don't think many people voted for mine besides Farin and Suzy... :o

But that's because my songs are special! :D

That's it exactly!

If getting into the Top Ten would be my goal, I'd just nominate Beatles and Stones songs...

On the other hand, I thought "", when I saw that "Zombie" didn't make it because of 1 (one) point.

Anyway, Thanks to all who nominated and voted! :coolio:

Keep it up!

I'll post a complete list (alphabetically) here and maybe later today in the Archive!

:)

Alright my One Hit Wonder Spirit In Tbe Sky edged into the top ten. Could this be the first OHW to make it into our top ten? The old goat farmer garnishes another award.

rtstuff

I'm lining up two more good ones for our next contest.

Sorry, no Award.

"My Sharona" ~ The Knack was #1 in our very first Top Ten... :)

We still haven't had:

A 50s, 80s, 90s, 00s #1

A female solo artist or Group #1

:)

I didn't make it this time and my two nominations voted low...but this is a good Top 10! I did make it in a couple back with Otis Redding and that is enough to hold me for awhile, it was a great tune!

Oh it was cool to see that Janis almost hit number 1!!

Wow, my nomination LARS was equal second, and just four points off first. I guess it's unsurprising, being Rolling Stone magazine's greatest song of all time (The Rolling Stones were at number two with Satisfaction. That magazine must be really fascinated with rolling stones).

This must be the closest top four we have ever had - any one other person who voted could have completely changed the order of the top four.

That was actually the case! Old 55 turned it upside down :)

I can't agree more with you abou it being the closest we had so far. After about two thirds of the voters I thought that "Great Gig in the Sky" would be uncatchable ahead, but I guess I was wrong... :)

I amaze myself.

For the right 'tribute', bazooka might consider allocating a license to let you refer to yourself in the third person. It's tres* Imperial. Recommended by Bob Dole and Bo Diddley.

But RonJonSurfer is in line ahead of you.

Elementary my dear Farin. My Top 6 were always decided (though not the order, except #1) and I'm not a Floyd Fan. Also Phil didn't vote for "Wish You Were Here" when it made #1, so I figured he wouldn't vote for "Great Gig In The Sky" either. I don't think he's a Phloyd Phan, Pharin.
