daslied Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 The opening of "Love In..." is vaguely, vaguely similar to one riff in "Tom Sawyer", right before the guitar solo. In both the melody goes down, then up, repeat... Is that what you're thinking of? If so I would imagine there was no copying on the part of Aerosmith.
