Ken
Ok, Lynn gets called outside CTU by his sister, is jumped, wallet containing key card stolen, and yet, somehow got back into the building. And how did his sisters skanky boyfriend suddenly become involved with the terrorists, providing them with Lynn's key card?
Tenacious_Peaches
Ooooh, Ken, good stuff! I don't have an answer as to how Lynn got back in the building without his keycard. But I think that Lynn's crackhead sister's boyfriend was recruited by the terrorists before he knew her and their "relationship" was a scam. Does that make sense? daslied
I'm also not sure how he got back in, but I do know that in addition to never dying Goonies are crafty. I would imagine that these terrorists did their research and found out about Lynn having a sister. It was probably pretty easy to contact the boyfriend, and 20 grand is a lot for a smackhead for just robbing somebody. I would like to know why TV/movie flunkies still think that someone will just give them a suitcase full of cash and not shoot them in the head. Ken
Both scenarios are ok albeit a bit convienient. I wish I knew the layout of Los Angeles, as, I think Jack moves around from place to place rather fast, even with a helicopter..
daslied
I work with a guy from L.A. who watches it, and he said you can't even get across the street in 10 minutes. Jack seems to be able anywhere in that amount of time. Of course, all of that traffic is people trying to flee Jack Bauer, so it's easier for him. Ken
'K, that is amazing. There are bound to be plot holes and continuity problems. But it is a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you forget that paying a mortgage blows, and that it is cold outside. For that, it gets high scores! Ken
And is that C. Thomas Howell playing Kim Bauer's newboyfriend? He looks ill... Like, cancer ill...

Earth-Angel
Not a spoiler as such, but it case someone complains, I'll post this here: I just saw an outright goof!! Season 1, 7:00-8:00 episode, 0:13:20-0:13:24! Blatantly you can see the rigger or camerman to the far right of the screen while Nina is making a phonecall! I was getting creeped out as she is in a deserted office somewhere, and someone seemed to be lurking right there - but nope, it was one of the crewmen! And this was the episode that won an Emmy for editing!
Earth-Angel
Argh, another one! Season 1, episode 08:00-09:00, 0:26:44 When Eli tries to take Kim, and Teri intervenes, suddenly Kim is wearing black socks and brown loafers when, for the past half season, she has been wearing brown, strappy wedges with (thankfully) no socks! Earth-Angel
Ok, for the last 4 episodes Kim has been changing shoes from strappy wedges to loafers to sneakers and then back to the original strappy wedges. And I keep seeing cameraman!!!
daslied
Sue, you're losing it. Take a break and watch something non-threatening. Can I send you a Sesame Street DVD?
Earth-Angel
Hush hush, I am too busy filling my evenings looking for camermen!
daslied
Are you actually following the show as well? There's this cool dude named Jack who can beat up anybody.
Earth-Angel
Who is this Jack you speak of? Was he the annoying guy to the left of the cameraman at 17:02:00 on Episode 11:00-12:00?? Man, he was totally blocking my view!
daslied
He's the guy that will shortly take care of the aforementioned "cameramen". Jack Bauer is not ready for his closeup.

daslied
Oh great. Now we're all doomed. Jack Bauer believes in guilt by association.
Tenacious_Peaches
I'm posting this in the spoiler thread because I have been spoiled. I have plowed through Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. On my terms and on my timetable. I can't get my paws on Season 3 and I'm not ready to give up and only watch Season 5. There is a hole in my heart and Jack Bauer put it there. And surprisingly, it wasn't with a bullet or his fist.
daslied
Jack Bauer found an unflattering shot in Season 3, so he had them all destroyed, along with Wayne Huizenga.
Earth-Angel
Was that the shot that the camerman overpowered? Damn, I hope that dude at least gets an award somehow somewhere - looks like him and Jack get about the same amount of screen time
daslied
No, it was the one where the cameraman didn't die quickly enough. Of course you know now I have to go rent these and find this wayward cameraman.
