Brad_M
Good guesses, everyone. Laurie and Bazooka got so many, so quick, it didn't leave much left, but here's your chance to get the last two. Laurie got #'s 1,2,4,6,7 correct. Bazooka got #'s 3,8,10 correct. Honorable mentions to Old55 for #5 and #9, those answers are very close. "American Girl" could technically be an answer for #8 but it did not crack the U.S. top 40. "American Woman" did. "Little Man" and "Short D#ck Man" could technically be answers for #5 since they hit #21 and #14 respectively, but I'm looking for a song that hit the top 10. "Orange Crush" could technically be an answer for #9 but it didn't crack the Top 40. Here's a couple of clues: #5: Don't think height, think family jewel size. (Old55 and Bazooka, your answers were on the right track) note: I said "I don't measure up" because I was thinking of a euphemism for you-know-what and that would make the answer something that I have. (not me, Brad, but the other guy who I quoted for that question) #9: This soft drink is still around, but doesn't get much exposure, so think of a soda that you don't hear of too often. (It's spelling on the can is slightly different from the song). Here's a re-cap: 1. She may be afraid of spiders but she's always right. Answered 2. I don't think the guys would want to live in these, but the girls would love it. Answered 3. Even trapping it in glass didn't make it stand still. Answered 4. If I were a bird of prey, I would do this. Answered 5. I don't measure up to all the other guys. See clue above 6. Ali-baba's favorite pasttime. Answered 7. You and I are trapped in an oreo cookie. Answered 8. She was born in the U.S.A. Answered 9. A soda vending machine would dispense this song. See clue above 10. This song was found posted on a tree with a photograph. Answered Thanks to all the participants! Thanks for the invite, Darryl. That was fun! Now go get #'s 5 and 9.

Brad_M
#5 on Brad's - "Short D*ck Man" by 20 Fingers That's close, Das. Old55 already guessed that answer. I'm looking for a song that hit the U.S. Top 10. Think of another euphemism for "you-know-what". Song from the 70's.

OLD 55
Well done Phil. I never realised until someone pointed it out to me. You can definitely hear a different lead voice (Gerri Polci) and Frankie Valli singing backup falsetto. Ironic, isn't it, because that was probably their biggest Hit, a remix version charting high again 19 years later.
