RonJonSurfer Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Sorry for the let down.....I'll try better next time.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I'll forgive you, baby. That Chad Everett story won you at least a gazillion points in my book.
RonJonSurfer Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Thanks for reminding me. Maybe Chad can get a guest spot on the Sopranos where he starts out dead. Not a stretch for an actor of his calibre.(or cadaver).
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Ron. I love that you can parlay a trip to a strip club into research. That's a rare gift, brother. I'm impressed.

RonJonSurfer Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Next stop: Satriale's. I just drove by Satriale's two weeks ago. I went out for Fish & Chips in Kearny, NJ. They have a large Scottish, Irish, English population there and some wonderful restaurants (I went to Argyles Restaurant which I highly recommend.). Anyhow, Satriale's was right down the street. I may do a Sopranos tour between now and the show starting next year...I'll write my reviews here. With the large salary Carl pays me, I think it's the least I can do. Carl, where should I send these expense reports?
Tenacious_Peaches Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I thought about Laurie tonight as I watched the triumphant return of "The Sopranos" and drank wine until I was silly. All that was missing was 3 pounds of salami.
RonJonSurfer Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Did you like the episode? I did. They set up the characters for the final season. Summed up some old news....A Monopoly game gone bad....Bobby popped his cherry (and a musician). Tony turning into his Mom....the ducks..the ducks...lots of water references....
Uncle Joe Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Yep, looks like they may go out the way they came in. That would be a huge improvement over the last two seasons. Ten Pea, stop bragging about Mr. Peaches. Three pounds indeed!
Tenacious_Peaches Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I loved it. I was nervous the entire time...they are definitely building up to something. I noticed that Carmela was having shoulder problems, even before the Monopoly brawl. And I was terrified that something was going to happen to crazy Janice's little girl. I am so sad that these are the final episodes, but I have faith that they will end with a badda bing and a badda boom.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 I am absolutely beside myself wondering how they are going to wrap this up. I fear for all of them.
phil Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 I sense very bad things are going to happen. Christopher had a very evil look in his eyes!
RonJonSurfer Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 I was listening to an interview with Frank Vincent yesterday and he said in the final episode he and Tony ride off in a convertible with a hand on each others butt. He may be steering us down the wrong path. They also mentioned to him that Frank Vincent parties are always bad. He threw the party for his dead brother on the Sopranos. He had similarly bad parties in Raging Bull and Goodfellas (I think). I'm loving these episodes and can't wait for the next week's show. I'll miss this show terribly when the run comes to an end.
_Laurie_ Posted April 26, 2007 Author Report Posted April 26, 2007 I love the new Season so far....It just seems too obvious that they lead us to believe Christopher is planning on having Tony whacked...They gotta have something more clever in mind....I can't wait to find out..I will also be disappointed to see this series end....
RonJonSurfer Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 One of my son's friends from high school had a part in last nights Sopranos. He was the Rutgers student that couldn't pay his gambling debt and, well, you know...let's say it was a one time appearance for him. I'm enjoying the final shows...it's getting darker and creepier. All along, I've felt that Tony was going to try to bring his son into the business....last night was a big step in that direction....if he doesn't get put away for taking part in the demise of (see first paragraph).
miamisammy29 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I don't know nuttin' 'bout no Rutgers student. Didja check da marshes?
RonJonSurfer Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 So far it was only implied that he might not have made it.
miamisammy29 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 I just watched the latest episode. Great one. I loved it when Christopher put a bullet in Tim Daly's head. If only somebody would have done that during the second season of "Wings". And, Ron, that Sauerhoff kid is quite the actor. Maybe during his next acting gig, he'll remember to PAY HIS DEBTS ON TIME.
RonJonSurfer Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Who will be left standing...3 episodes left.
miamisammy29 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Nobody better f**k wit Sil. Clarence Clemmons could kick his a**.
RonJonSurfer Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Carmine almost lead Tony into a hit tonight...
