edna
You want lyrics too, and where to get them? Spanish and latin rock bands? This is one of my favourites. Hope you understand it... It´s by a Spanish band called Radio Futura. Otokichi
"Cuando Caliente El Sol" has always been on my playlist, in spite of my rusty high school Spanish. Also, "Guantanmera," a Cuban poem/song has me reaching for "The Buena Vista Social Club, " which itself has interesting folk songs. For more modern music just over the border from France, try The Gipsy Kings. A fiery guitarist, Manitas de Plata needs to have the fire department standing by whenever he plays. Jimmy1104
A pop hit from the early 70's was Eres Tu by a group called Morcedades. It actually charted here in America and is a very pretty song.
Jimmy1104
While we are on the topic of Spanish music, may I mention that Ray Barretto passed away this weekend, I believe on February 18. He was 76 years old. For those of you who may not have heard of him, he was one of the innovators of modern Salsa music. When I was a kid I was fortunate to hear him play with the likes of Tito Puente and Celia Cruz. I lived on a play street in the Bronx where they did a show one night during a warm summer. I don't recall all who performed but it was basically the beginnings of the Fania All Stars. Besides the three mentioned above I am sure there was also Willie Colon, Hector Lavoe and Johnny Pacheco. I can not recall any of the others. For those of you that like Salsa music and wants to go back to the beginnings I truly urge you to get your hands on any of the music that came out of the Fania group. edna
Alaska y los Pegamoides were the best band in Spain. This is their first hit. I love it and I love them, some of them were my close friends and the guitar player and co-songwriter was one of my best friends. BAILANDO Bailando. Me paso el dia bailando. Y los vecinos mientras tanto. No paran de molestar. Bebiendo.

Foxy
Oye Mi Canto Gloria Estefan Libre... No buscar explicaciones Oye mi canto Oye Mi Canto (Hear My Voice) Take me... only for what I am You've got a right to speak your mind You've gotta take a stand No one... has the right to say This is right or that is wrong It isn't just one way Find common ground Go in between Things aren't always what they seem Someday it'll be alright Changes happen overnight People, let's give each other room If we're gonna work it out We better make it soon Love is... love is such a common word When it's pride we mistake for love Isn't that absurd Why always take The upper hand It's better to understand Someday it'll be alright Changes happen overnight Someday it'll be alright Changes happen overnight Oye mi canto Oye mi canto Oye mi canto I believe in love but with no conditions Oye mi canto And giving in sometimes Doesn't make it submission Oye mi canto Hate is so common it's almost tradition Oye mi canto Come on let's leave it behind And make that transition Oye mi canto Oye mi canto Oye mi canto Oye mi canto Oye mi canto.... Elvish
Farin
A spnish Rock song from the 80's (i think) Heroes Del Silencio "Entre Dos Tierras" Te puedes vender, cualquier oferta es buena si quieres poder. Shawna
Lo Siento, Mi Vida (I'm Sorry, My Love) By Linda Ronstadt Lo siento, mi vida Yo sé que ya terminó Corazones quebrados Esperanza que se fué Cuando brille la luna Yo sé que no dormirás Ni tú Ni yo Ya ha llegado el triste pesar Debemos siempre separarnos La noche que te fuiste Cambió mi pobre vida Quedo mi alma triste Pensando en mi dolor Cuando brille la luna Yo sé que no dormirás Ni tú Ni yo Ya ha llegado el triste pesar Debemos siempre separarnos I wait for the night to pass and turn to day I can't make this feeling go away 'Cause I get so weak when the day is through And I think of you I'm gonna see it through Lo siento mi vida Yo sé que ya terminó Corazones quebrados Esperanza que se fué Cuando brille la luna Yo sé que no dormirás Ni tú Ni yo Ya ha llegado el triste pesar Debemos siempre separarnos Siempre separar
