TheTallOne Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 When does Songfacts update? I signed up for the newsletter and haven't received it, and me and some other people are wawiting for somethings to see if they get posted. Sorry if I sound kind of pushy, but I'd like to know.
Carl Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 We try to update the database about once every 2 weeks. There's also about a 2 week lag from when Songfacts are submitted and processed, and longer if we need to send them out for research. This means it can be a month or more before you actually see your Songfacts, but I can assure you that every entry is reviewed and the lag time is neccessary to ensure quality and accuracy. We certainly appreciate the contributions. As for the newsletter, it is undergoing a makeover and we might have to skip February. It's a matter of cleaning up the mailing list and getting a more efficient system. In the age of spam, sending a legitimate newsletter to over 20,000 users gets a little tricky. I might post the February letter here so you guys can see what songs were added.
_Laurie_ Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 okay...sounds great Carl....thanks!
