Otokichi
"Agnes Chan"? Where had I heard of that name? A Google! search confirmed that she was the big time 17-year-old Japan Pop star of the early 1970's. An interesting fan site, http://www.angeschan.org tells part of the tale, but only up to Chapter 8 (1978). I suspect she's now a trilingual threat: Cantonese (native), Japanese, and English. From the list of album/CD releases, she was a phenom across East Asia, and clicking on an eBay link at Google! brought up some LP releases. There's an up to date Wikipedia entry, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnes_Chan, which includes data on past and present CD releases. The "Forget Yourself" sample can be found at: http://www.thecelebritycafe.com; Windows Media works best on a broadband connection until 21/2/2006.
