Mike
Just signed up, heard great things about it. Where do you rent? p.s. there is a video store right in my neighborhood, but I don't like "limits on time" the only pressure I want on when to return a film is when I want to see another. invisible_r
I used to rent from amazon, which i assume is the same thing as netflix, i.e. a monthly fee with a certain number of dvds sent to you by post. however, I found it slighlty stressfull (yes, I know i'm a freak) as there was "pressure" to watch the dvds. so i cancelled it and am now renting from the store across the street. sure, it's more expensive but i find it more relaxing as I only have to get a dvd when I want to watch one
Uncle Joe
Blockbuster on-line is just like Netflix, maybe better and cheaper.
Batman
Netflix is my favorite way of getting movies. So much more of a variety than Blockbuster! Plus, I can get R rated movies on Neflix, and not at Blockbuster.
NewYorkMets9
I love Netflix. I signed up 2 months ago. My dad and I have watched Arrested Development seaons 1 and 2, Marathon Man, Crash, Vertigo, Some Like it Hot, and the French Connection. I'm actually giong to start season 1 of Lost in half an hour and we have Lawrence of Arabia up next.
rtstuff
Netflix is cool. I just watched the unrated edition of the Wedding Crashers. I laughed my head off. That was better than Prozac. rtstuff Home is where the Herd roams
Cheval Noir
Netflix and Hitflix. They both carry a huge variety of movies that the others don't have. I used to rent videos through the mail way back before it was even convenient with dvds. Facets Multimedia in Chicago was my source of rare and hard-to-find videos. The drawback is that they were vhs, so the shipping was not convenient. Plus, their rental fees were pretty high. It was something like 35 bucks to rent three or four vids off their cinematheque library. I've had netflix since December of 2003 with very little problems. If netflix doesn't carry it, then I search hitflix's library to see if they carry it. This is how I managed to get my greasy mits on "The Last Orgy Of The Third Reich"
Batman
I now use blockbuster video, because they seem to have the same stuff I'm looking for at netflix (movies, concerts, and tv on dvd), and they give you in-store coupons, which I usually don't use, but my family does.
