Tenacious_Peaches
You'd be just as quick to turn on me, sugar. But you are right, us sisters do need to stick together. But that doesn't mean I'll stop laughing at the tourist comment.
daslied
Sure, maybe individually. But I wouldn't take on two women (no jokes needed, please). You know that I'm terrified of you guys and your wily ways. You can keep laughing, but make sure you stop long enough to effectively stomp on my grave. You sure know how to put a taint on a man's heart.
SoulGirl
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww das i love you really, i didn't mean to break your heart! (but i can't take the tourist comment back...)
daslied
I'm sure I'll heal in time. I respect your commitment to your Tullamore Dew hatred. I'll even tell you that I love Harp beer. Bring it on.
SoulGirl
wow, that's an impressive show of commitment to tourist status! the best irish drinks are bailey's, murphy's (but as a girl i can only drink it occassionally) and jameson in that order! daslied
Bailey's is for old ladies. I meant that I was out of Tullamore Dew because a bunch of lightweight tourists broke into my house and stole it before skipping down the road arm-in-arm. And by "I love Harp beer" I meant that I beat up a harpist and stole her Warsteiner. Dear Gisela, why do you wound me so?
SoulGirl
old lady?! you better watch it, mister! oh and i should have qualified that as best alcoholic drink - the best irish drink and all-time general drink ever is barry's tea. now, call me an old lady again... i dare ya! daslied
Thanks! Wait, is the thread where I substituted myself for that dude? I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Tenacious_Peaches
I agree, Soulsis. Melissa and Kevin both have to be gone soon. She's just nasty. And his rendition of "Vincent" was so bad that van Gogh chopped off his other ear whilst in his grave so he wouldn't have to listen to it on the other side. Das, I reject your rejection. daslied
Don't you hate people like me (I believe the term is "interloper") who constantly interrupt legitimate conversations with "Hey, look at me!" comments? SoulGirl
and thank you for making me laugh out loud, much to the bemusement of the patients in the waiting room at work!
Tenacious_Peaches
Apparently it is Stevie Wonder night on AI. God help us all. If Chris can't work it out with Stevie, it may be the end of the road for our future marriage plans.
daslied
Crap, I almost want to watch it now. I'll bet you a million dollars that Chris does either "Don't Drive Drunk" or "Part-Time Lover".
Tenacious_Peaches
Oh, shut up. Please watch it, if only for the Stevie factor. We'll have so much fun ripping everyone to shreds.
_Laurie_
All Stevie Wonder?...cool!....Ace can hit those high notes pretty good...I hope someone sings Signed Sealed Delivered...I like that song...and many others..
blind-fitter
So it's a "Stevie Wonder special", is it? Good news for Ace, Elliot and (probably) Taylor. Bad news for the rest of them. I know Chris has been okay at doing his thing so far, but he was always going to come a cropper when the "(Insert MOR artist here)Special" was thrown into the mix. And yes, Ace sings well, but he surely can't go on week after week choosing songs just to show off his falsetto. I can't be the only one who finds his "false" profoundly irritating, can I??? Still, he's not a one-trick pony, as his transparent love-making to the camera is profoundly irritating as well. Taylor blew'em all away last week. Good for him: he was just starting to get right on my wires with his incessant "Whooo"s, but then he cut that out and just put in an outstanding performance instead. As for the women...unless the saucy blonde lass and the Minnie Mouse (Paris?) both up their act considerably, there's really only one in it, isn't there? _Laurie_
I totally agree on the falsetto thing BF..it does get irritating after awhile...Taylor is good, I like him, but the whoooo's like you said have to be cut down a little bit, well alot!..lol...and his dancing is definitely unique that's for sure, although his moves kind of remind me of Joe Cocker. _Laurie_
oh and for the girls? I really don't care too much for any of them...Mandesa can sing that's for sure, and the little minnie mouse....yeah Paris I think is her name is alright, but I'm hoping it's a guy this year.
