Jugband_Blues
who do you like more, the Clash or the Ramones? Both great bands: the Clash for relevant meaningful lyrics, punk that explored into reggae, and one of the greatest albums of all time with London Calling; or the Ramones, pure punk rockers (3 chords and cloud of dust), who some people believe resurrected rock in the late 70's, and who can boast one of the best live albums ever, (It's Alive). Foxy
I voted the Clash, because I've not listened to alot of The Ramones yet.

katie_sane
The Ramones One of my favourite bands ever! They inspired the Clash!
DiggsUK
I prefer the Ramones for driving but the Clash for listening in the house. I never got to see the Clash, but I did see the Ramones. Incidently my kids prefer the Ramones. My eldest (7) likes Blitzkrieg Bop whilst my 5 year old likes Beat On The Brat. My toddler has yet to express a preference, but I suspect she will go with White Man At Hammersmith Palais or else White Riot.... Regards

Batman
It used to be the Ramones, but now I think they're kinda bland. The Clash for me
katie_sane
The Ramones are NEVER bland....they're an exciting band. But I'm an obsessed fan. I do like the Clash also but don't think they're as original as The Ramones.

Brad_M
The Ramones, baby! I don't know of any other band that makes me want to dance :happybanana: , smile , air guitar :guitar: and bang my head all at the same time any time that I hear one of their songs. They can lift your spirits like no other band can. Give me All The Stuff...And More! Hey, Ho, Let's Go!
