The Who to Embark on World Tour in 2006

"We plan to visit the USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and also South America."

The Who has announced plans to launch a world tour, which will take them on a trek across the country for the first time in almost four years.

The group - which now consists of Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend backed by bassist Pino Palladino, keyboardist John 'Rabbit' Bundrick, drummer Zak Starkey and guitarist Simon Townshend - was forced to take a hiatus this year, due to Starkey's touring commitments with Oasis and Palladino's stint with the John Mayer Trio.

Manager Bill Curbishley says, "We plan to visit the USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and also South America."

Townshend's girlfriend, singer/songwriter Rachel Fuller, is eyeing the possibility of opening some dates on the tour.

Why should I care, why should I care?

Girls of fifteen

Sexually knowing

The ushers are sniffing

Eau-de-cologning

The seats are seductive

Celibate sitting

Pretty girls digging

Prettier women.

Magically bored

On a quiet street corner

Free frustration

In our minds and our toes

Quiet stormwater

M-m-my generation

Uppers and downers

Either way blood flows.

Inside outside. Leave me alone.

Inside outside. Nowhere is home.

Inside outside, Where have I been?

Out of my brain on the five fifteen.

On a raft in the quarry

Slowly sinking.

On the back of a lorry

Holy hitching.

Dreadfully sorry

Apple scrumping.

Born in the war

Birthday punching.

He man drag

In the glittering ballroom

Gravely outrageous

In my high heel shoes

Tightly undone

They know what they're showing

Sadly ecstatic

That their heroes are news.

Why should I care?

-------------------

They can STILL do this song , 'nuff said, and that's reason to care !

If they come to Minnesota or North Dakota or anywhere around there I will get my dad to drive me otherwise I will have to pay for a flight. If I knew The Eagles were touring a month before I did I could have seen them. My dad would have bought a flight in a second. I missed one of my four favourite bands I am nto going to miss another one. I even missed Def Leppard and they were came to my city and I didn't hear one thing about it.
