I can't say I know a lot of Lyle's music but I loved this show! I always thought Lyle Lovett was cool and enjoyed his music when I heard it but prior to this show I couldn't really call myself a true fan. Lyle gave a great performance backed by his 9 piece Cowboy Band, which I hear is actually his small band! The music was great - I'd say the upright bass, cello and the 3 guitar harmonies were my favorites. Lyle was witty and incredibly adorable and ended the show by bringing out a gospel choir and doing a couple of great roof-raising gospel songs. I'd give this concert an A all around and highly recommend it whether you're a fan or just know a few songs! The concert was in the Shubert Theater, a great place to see a show if you're in CT.

Anyone else ever seen Lyle? I'd love to hear what his "big" band is like!
