Steel2Velvet
"Oh Holy Night" never fails to stir my soul. Mel Torme's inspired "The Christmas Song" ("Chestnuts roasting on an open fire....") is great no matter who sings it, but I especially like Nat King Cole's version. On the upbeat side, the Ronette's "Santa Claus Is Comin To Town" and "Sleigh Ride" (Spector's Wall-of-Sound goes good with Christmas.) and "Merry Christmas, Baby" as performed by Bruce Springsteen. I too, want to publicly thank Unckie Joe for sending me the 12 days of Christmas music. Neat stuff, Joe!
edna
I agree with Ron, "Sleigh Ride" and "Santa Claus Is Comin To Town" are on top of my hit-parade. With "Run, Rudolph, Run". Of course, I also must say "Thank you, Uncle Joe!!! This year, Christmas sounds better thanks to you"

Tenacious_Peaches
Did you really just tell me what to put on my list? The nerve. I'd be mad if you weren't 100% right. I hate it when that happens.
katie_sane
I like 'Merry Xmas Everybody' by Slade, 'Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)' by The Ramones 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree' by Brenda Lee 'Run Rudolph Run' by Chuck Berry 'Jinglebell Rock' by Bill Haley My mum loves 'O Holy Night' by Mario Lanza. I hate all those songs that are about snow, or open fires or white Christmases because that stuff is unimaginable in December here and I can't relate.
