Blue Fish
Suns still out. It's such a beautiful day and i can't enjoy it as I have to dismantle a fence, carry a three seater bench back to our teachers garden then clean up the ness made from dismantleing the fence. such is life! Uncle Joe
It's 20 and snowing, though we're only getting 2-4 inches. People are really wimps these days. Years ago two inches of snow didn't cause much difficulty at all and no closings or stoppages. Today people cancel appointments, stay home from work and act like it's a blizzard over a mere 2". How pathetic. And how they drive? Don't get me started.
Tenacious_Peaches
Joe, almost every year since I've lived in Georgia, there is a tiny bit of snow (one inch at the most) in Atlanta and the whole city shuts down. It's pathetic.
Jenny
Not us, Joe....they didn't even delay school here. OK with me, because it's an inconvenience when they do, but usually my daycare delays for snow. I guess they've toughened up this year. We have about a inch or so out there, but it's freezing. I agree about the driving, though. I am usually a wuss about driving in the snow (I slid on ice and had a minor accident about 7 years ago) but I felt very comfortable doing the speed limit, and even going above. Some people see a flake and decide they need to crawl. We're supposed to have warmer weather this weekend. I am looking sooooooo forward to it
_Laurie_
I don't mind driving in the snow...you're right about ice though Jenny, that ice is nasty, and it's hard to control the car when it starts sliding, very scary...

Levis
I love rainy afternoons. I love rainy afternoons when it gets so dark it doesn't look like afternoon anymore. There should be big, black clouds in the sky and big, cold raindrops. And it's even better when it's not monsoon rain.
