Shawna
in the high 70s here. Only place it's freezing in Phoenix is in my class rooms.
CanAm
Marc, Edna, Shawna and Darryl, I am SOOOOO envious! Heck, even the temperature in Batman's neck of the woods sounds tropical to me. Not only is it cold here, but it has been snowing for the last three days. I shoveled my driveway yesterday and when I awoke this morning and looked out my front window, it was covered again with about 2 inches of freshly fallen snow. SIGH! However, there is good news on the horizon. The temperature by Saturday is supposed to be about 7C or 44F.
PSYCHOcatholic
70 degrees...YAY! I LOVE WINTER!!! NOT! I wanna move back to Boston for the snow...how sad is that?

CanAm, that sounds like the scene of a pretty Christmas tale... as long as you have a nice fireplace and warm clothes... Snow is beautiful too... I know, I´d rather be on the beach too... Batman
The news said that there's a slight possibility of snow tonight, so the entire city of Portland has dropped everything we're supposed to be doing in hopes of a snow day tommorow (adults included). katie_sane
Just a balmy Spring Day here around 90 Degrees F. Balmy? It was 95 degrees F here today and windy and just generally bloody awful. We've got total fire bans and firestorm warnings! It's hotter here, in southern New South Wales, than Queensland! } }
MarcM
Firestorm warnings? The news here would play that up to the nth degree. I can imagine that the "Doppler 7000" would get quite the workout.
Levis
It's cold. 8 degrees at night and a sunny 22 degrees in the afternoon.
Shawna
this just in: the city of Phoenix holds its breath in anticipation of a middle-of-the-night low of 26 degrees. We will (mostly) all be snug in our beds, however, and likely miss the occasion.
MarcM
Hey CanAm, where you sending cold thoughts? It has gotten cold here (for So Cal standards) and has been in the high 50's for the last 2 days and very windy. Lows have been in the low 40's. I like it. Uncle Joe
I don't like it to be so warm this time of year but I must say it's nice not to be using the gas heat. If this keeps up for two more weeks I may be able to buy a Ferrari.

Shawna
the high 50's for the last 2 days and very windy. Right there with you, Marc. It was so *&%#&@* cold and windy here today that I had to wear thermals, a turtleneck, and my mid-calf-length suede coat - and that didn't even keep me warm. We get your weather right after you're done with it.
MarcM
50 mph winds today and it was 38 when I went home this morning...Supposed to be colder tonight.
Uncle Joe
70's today with an outside chance of reaching 76 which would tie a record, I believe.

Blue Fish
I want snow. It's still about 9 degrees to warm for that. No you don't! It's a absolute *insert own word* to shovel off your driveway in the morning! and to get to work on time through snow, and to keep the dog from gaining weight, and it's hard on the bill for logs, and pleanty more!
