NewYorkMets9
As a 16 year old that's into classic rock, it's hard to expand upon my collection outside of just hit songs. I thought I'd post some bands and songs I had and maybe you guys could post some other songs I'd like. Thanks. Emerson, Lake, and Palmer -Karn Evil 9, First Imp, Part 2 ELO -Do Ya? Derek and the Dominoes -Layla Buffalo Springfield -For What It's Worth The Band -The Weight The Guess Who -American Woman Mountain -Theme From An Imaginary Western I have a lot more bands, but I don't want to be too demanding. Thank you.
RonJonSurfer
Going with different bands that might fit...look for very early solo Neil Young...as a matter of fact, his "Decade" collection gives a good early sample of his work. I think you would like anything by Cream based on your band selections. Finally try Cosmo's Factory by Creedance Clearwater Revival. You'll like all of these based on your selections. katie_sane
ELO are a great band! I started a thread on them a few weeks ago looking for song suggestions too. Here's the list: Katie, here are some of my favorite ELO songs: 10538 Overture Do Ya Ma Ma Ma Belle 21st Century Man All Over The World Alright Bitter Sweet Boy Blue Bluebird Is Dead Can't Get It Out Of My Head Don't Bring Me Down El Dorado Evil Woman Flowers In The Rain Hello Heartbreaker In The Hall Of The Mountain King Kuiama Lights Go Down Livin' Thing Midnight Blue Mr. Blue Sky Mr. Radio My Woman Rockaria Rain Is Falling Roll Over Beethoven Showdown Strange Magic Sweet Talking Woman Telephone Line Time After Time Turn To Stone Twilight Underture ....and more, but these are tops. You can find many of these on any hits collection, best ofs, etc.

OLD 55
Hi Katie and Joe. A great E.L.O. song which is often overlooked is "Four Little Diamonds". I have a really good 2 CD Compilation (38 tracks)of theirs "Light Years" which includes it.
bluesboy
If you like The Weight from The Band then you'll probably like their second album, just self titled The Band. I especially like; Whispering Pines Rockin' Chair The Unfaithful Servant but the whole album is dynamite. for Buffalo Springfield - a good overview album is Retrospective: the Best of the Buffalo Springfield and Mountain - Climbing ! album.
