Brippa
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Johnny Depp's character attends a Jefferson Airplane concert in Las Vegas in one scene of the movie. "Somebody to Love" is playing and he is high, seeing everything distorted and in slow motion. Interesting fact-a producer of the movie played Grace Slick onstage. In another scene, Depp's lawyer (played by Benicio Del Toro) listens to "White Rabbit" while high in the bathtub
edna
This song was written by Darby Slick in 1965 for The Great Society: from left to right, Grace Slick, Peter Vandergelder (bass), Darby Slick (guitar) and Jerry Slick (drums, Grace Slick´s husband by then). They also did "White Rabbit". They recorded two albums but they were released after Grace Slick joined The Jefferson Airplane for their second album, where they perform the two songs. Mike
I really resent their changing their name from Airplane to Starship. Big mistake in my opinion. But I do like the White Rabbit. Surrealistic Pillow is a great album!!
Lexxi Marie
^ I also resent the name change. The Airplane is forever<3. And I agree, Surrealistic Pillow is the best my favorite Airplane album Fear and Loathing was great though, White Rabbit (one of my favorites<3) really suited it well.
