invisible_r
Aqualung - Strange And Beautiful i was going to comment that this didn't come out this year, but i checked on amazon, and it seems that the album i have , i.e. "aqualung", which came out in 2002, has the same track listing as "strange and beautiful" which was released this year in the US. Weird
daslied
I think "Strange And Beautiful" was his first U.S. release, maybe? It looks like a combination of "Aqualung" and "Still Life". Either way, I first heard it this year, but I wasn't sure of the actual release date. There was such crap this year I figured I could expand the boundaries a bit. invisible_r
you are right, it is a combination of those two albums. i liked "aqualung" when it came out but i can't say i ever listen to it. i haven't given this much thought as i have quite liked many albums that came out this year, but my fave ones have to be franz ferdinand "you could have it so much better" kaiser chiefs "employment"

Batman
The only thing I didn't like about it was the song transitions. They did that thing where a lot of the songs started and ended with radio sounds, and a lot of the time, it made a really abrupt and awkward ending. The songs were good though.
