Forever Love A lifetime of beautiful memories you gave me, Our time together not long enough... Always wondering what might have been, Filled with sorrow that we had to end. You filled my heart with a love I had never known, My soul you touched with your tenderness... My breath you could take away, Loving you more each passing day. Sharing sadness and happiness in the night, Soft kisses and genlte whispers exchanged... Loving each other so wild and strong, Your touch I will forever long. Still hearing you say my name, Feeling your lips against mine.... Your body next to me, Wanting those moments frozen in time. No regrets I have of our love, A gift you were to me from the heavens... Finding my soul mate, I now know a little too late. Brought together by destiny, A love that will never die in our hearts... Torn apart by doubt, Trying hard but not able to work it out. However, if one is to truly reach deeply into the heart of another, then the poet must reveal their soul. You have done that here and far from any form of embarassment, you should feel appreciation by those of us who understand the feelings you described so personally and so well; and are comforted to know we are not alone in our heartaches.
