PSYCHOcatholic Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 Ok, i heard that there are two different versions. One without the London Bach Choir and one with? Let It Bleed album has the Choir in the beginning. Which album doesnt have them?
Uncle Joe Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 Greetings From Asbury Park hasn't got them.
PSYCHOcatholic Posted October 25, 2005 Author Report Posted October 25, 2005 Oh ok, cool! Thanks Uncle Joe! I think its cool how they sing in it, but i sometimes just wanna get to the song.
Crazy Don Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 The choir-less version is on the flip side of the "Honky Tonk Women" 45.
edna Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Don´t you know if it´s available on any album of oldies or rarities? I´m curious...
bluesboy Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Edna, I don't see the choir-less version on this list, but I thought I would post it anyway.
edna Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Edna, I don't see the choir-less version on this list, but I thought I would post it anyway. Thank you very much, Bluesy!!! It might be in some singles compillation...
bluesboy Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 I think I found it, Edna and Paul It's the 4 minute version off Rock n' Roll Circus.
miamisammy29 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 I've seen it about 15 times in concert...never used a choir. However, I think it would be absolutely awesome if they had a choir backing them, and then went straight into "Shine A Light" with the same choir. But they never do it.
edna Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 it would be absolutely awesome if they... went straight into "Shine A Light" with the same choir. "Exile on main Street" has wonderfull choirs... I´ve heard lots of live versions of "You can´t always get..." and it sounds much better with the choir. I will get my Magic Circus dvd for my birthday, I thought I had a vhs somewhere but I don´t... or maybe I saw it on tv??? I don´t remember... But it´s normal. The other day I suddenly remembered I saw Mick Taylor, Jack Bruce and Jim Capaldi twice, in the mid seventies... I had completelly forgot about it.
