Kennedy did not shoot at "preacher" Eastwood at the beginning of the film, it was an uncredited actor who was hit by Lightfoot (Bridges) in a high-grass field. He was driving a 1972 white Firebird (not a Corvette). The score Leary (Kennedy) and Thunderbolt (Eastwood) have to settle is the where-a-bouts of the cash from their last heist. Great movie- but the review from this site it, in a word, pityful!

The others I've enjoyed in the list are...

The Lords of Flatbush (1974)

Death Race 2000 (1975)

Car Wash (1976)

*Corvette Summer (1978)

I just bought this one, it was just released on DVD, saw in the theatre with my buddy when it came out... nostagia... and .. what a HOT car?!!
