OLD 55
QUESTIONS 2 AND 4 ARE STILL CURRENT. BACK WITH THE SUCCESSFUL ANSWERS OF Q1 AND Q3 AND THE CURRENT POINTS SHORTLY !
OLD 55
Question 1 - Ringo Starr (by Dhani Harrison)? WELL DONE SAMMY ! RINGO (NOT PAUL) IT WAS. As the Question was over 24 Hours old, you and Peaches get 8 Big Points for it. You almost nailed it first up yesterday with Paul in the 2002 Concert For George, but young Dhani referred to "Uncle Ringo". I'm 99.99% sure he didn't use the same term with Paul. I'd bet money on it, but note I didn't put 100% just in case. Edna, I deliberately used the term "young man", and Eddie Venning is coming up 41 (which IS young - wish I was 41 again). Isn't it absolutely amazing how much Dhani Harrison looks like George !
OLD 55
Q4 - Downtown - Petula Clark Wait...can we do that? Both members of a team post an answer to the same question? CONGRATULATIONS PEACHES AND SAMMY AGAIN ! THAT'S HER. Joe knew it too, and Edna, Lulu's "To Sir With Love" was the fourth US #1 by a British lady. Petula Clark had another US #1 before that with "My Love". Both Members of a Team can make 2 attempts each at all questions. That's fine. OR you can use "Contact A Friend" as one of your attempts. Shawna
Yes, it's very slow. Hope it's not shades of the old boards... Q2 - Jimmy Buffet? Wild guess. I know he covered "Brown Eyed Girl" anyway.
OLD 55
Hi Shawna. Good to see you. Not Jimmy Buffet unfortunately. But I reckon that's the way to go; think of a songrwiter and see who covered his songs ! I'll repeat those 2 Questions as soon as the Site lets me.
