Uncle Joe
I just heard a song called Arms Of A Woman by Amos Lee. This guys sounds great. The song and the style remind me a little of Jeff Buckley. Probably a bit more soulful. Check him out if you get the opportunity. Here's what AMG has to say: Amos Lee
daslied
Cool voice. I heard a strong Van Morrison influence in there somewhere. "Astral Weeks" Van Morrison, not "Brown-Eyed Girl" Van Morrison.
Earth-Angel
Oh yeah, I have heard him before. My boyfriend loves "Arms of a woman". Like Unks said, very soulful.

Lambchop Flansburgh
Amos Lee opened for Dylan last spring. He reminded me a little of Jim Croce, of all people. Nice voice, nice relaxed style. Glad to see he's doing well.

JustTom
Yea, i totally caught that Dylan show in Buffalo. I got totally into Amos' set and have been advocating him for a while now. He's been compared before as the male counterpart of Norah Jones, but i like the Jim Croce comparison aswell. If none of you own the album yet, go buy it right now, it's absolutly fantastic, every song is a gem. But if you'd rather sample some other songs on the net, i highly suggest "Bottom Of The Barrell" and the best song on the album, which i can't beleive hasn't been talked about yet "Keep it Loose, Or Keep It Tight" which i gurantee you will fall in love with.
