Sweet child...you have excellent taste. Bazooka, and S2V, I knew there was something I liked about you guys. Finally, someone else recognizes the often overlooked Angel. I always try to bring this song up. You are exactly right, both of you. The song could not fit Jimi's voice better, and shows the softer, more introspective side of his talent. Angel has a special meaning for me, but it would still be one of my favorite Hendrix songs, and one that I don't think anyone could cover well. I think I shall have to listen to Jimi tonight. I started a thread called "Favorite Jimi Hendrix song" and 7 people replied, each asking "who's he?" Ah well, that's what you get for trying to have music discussion at a forum dedicated to animation (and damn good animation at that!) That's odd Jimi's been mentioned several times on the Simpsons.
