Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I havn't seen a topic about the Wall on this board, so discuss what you think about this movie based on the album by Pink Floyd. I've never seen it myself; never knew 1 existed O_o

Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 Never heard of Rust Never Sleeps. Whose it by? Have ya seen We Will Rock You (the play/opera)?
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 (edited) I'm 14. What do you think? I used to just like classical music (not classic music, CLASSICAL music; Beethoven, Mozart). Year or two ago I was goin' through some of my parents old CD's and seen a Chicago CD. Thats when I began likin' classic rock. Queen was my favourite band until around 10 minutes ago; now it's Pink Floyd Nope, never heard Niel Young. Heard OF him, havn't heard him though. Edit: Wow, 14 posts and havn't got banned! A new record! Edited September 5, 2005 by Guest ...
_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Well looks like you got a great start on liking classic rock....you must give Neil Young a listen so you can add him to your collection...he was also with Crosby, Stills and Nash....give them a listen also...great harmony!....Neil is also good solo too...
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 When I want slow songs, I listen to Chicago But I'll download Rust Never Sleeps and Silver and Gold on my iPod It can hold 5000 songs; it has 300

How far back are we goin'?! I thought classic was the 70's and 80's; I thought Crosby was the 50's, 60's? Btw, is double posting like this allowed? Edit: Hmm... no wonder I couldn't find any Rust Never Sleeps. I kept puttin' 'Rush' instead of 'Rust' Edited September 5, 2005 by Guest ...

_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 oh Pharoah...I have way too many favorites to list, mainly classic rock like, Hendrix, Joplin, The Doors, Who, Floyd, Queen, Zeppelin, Skynyrd, Neil Young, the Stones, and of course the greatest band of all "The Beatles".....lol i could go on and on.
_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 OH MY GOD...How could I forget Fleetwood Mac..."Rumours" is an excellent album
_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 HD dont ya just love tutoring the newbies?
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 Those remind me too much of country music. I hate country music! And I don't really like those 'ol' guitar' stuff. The 70's are far enough back for me

I like Queen a lot! Led Zeppelin is good. Pink Floyd is great. And... thats all I've heard from that list Besides a few songs from the Beatles. Imagine is very good
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 I was just wishing I was 14 with all this great music ahead of me!! It's not THAT great
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 Country? Well, that guitar stuff in it reminds me of country. Don't know why. Whats the best Beatles song? Listenin' to 'Help' right now
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 Ol' Guitar Stuff? I have to go lay down now.... I don't like music like that too much. Would 'Ricky Nelson' be in the same genre as the songs ur' listin'?
_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 oh man...best beatles, just one?....cant do that...pick one, it's sure to be good...
Pharoah Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is pretty good. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is good. Help is good. Imagine is very good. Why in the world don't I download more Beatles song? If ya had to choose just one song ALL TOGETHER, what would it be as ur' favourite?
_Laurie_ Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I don't like music like that too much. Would 'Ricky Nelson' be in the same genre as the songs ur' listin'? Oh Man HD...this tutoring is a hard job...
