The Beatles spent time with the Maharishi in 1967-68, the were visiting him when they learned of the death of their manager Brian Epstein. John was dis-enchanted with the Maharishi and thought he was a hoax, and left abruptly convincing the others he was using the girls the Beatles had brought him. It is quite common , and a little disturbing at first , but then becomes quite commical . People also burst into song in public , if the spirit moves them , as well . I can´t see any picture on the web but it´s in the inner sleeve of "The essential Donovan" cd, or in the Anthology Beatles book, or in so many places... ...actually, I found a picture of her sister among many others (in India) but the pic is much too big and you can see nearly nothing.
