Batman
I hear that Hillary Duff covered "My Generation." I'm too ashamed of my generation to even listen to it, though. I'm curious, though, I'll bet it's kind of funny.

Tenacious_Peaches
Bazooka, that was an interesting version. I've always liked that song. I sing it everytime it rains, which has been quite often lately.
Earth-Angel
I've mentioned my favourite covers in the other threads already, but a more recent one I'm really digging is Disturbed covering Genesis' "Land of confusion". HIM covering Chris Isaak's "Wicked game" also gets a mention Oh, and White Stripes doing "Jolene". Edited September 1, 2005 by Guest I'm a woman, do I need a reason to change my mind? daslied
"Blackbird" - Dionne Farris/Beatles "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Tori Amos/Nirvana "One" - Aimee Mann/Three Dog Night/Nilsson "Song To The Siren" - This Mortal Coil/Tim Buckley (Tim's original is the best vocal ever recorded) And my new personal favorite: "Six Months In A Leaky Boat" - The Wiggles/Split Enz (or Tim Finn) Later edit: forgot about "Found A Reason" - Cat Power/Velvet Underground. Not a VU fan, but I love this version of that song. Edited September 1, 2005 by Guest
Ken
The Ramones covered the Ronettes "Baby I love you" and did an absolutely stunning job of it. They also did a great job of the Searchers old chestnut "Needles And Pins". Joey's voice is awesome. Ken.
