There's a reggae song called Try A Little Smile. The only versions I can find are by women but the one I'm looking for is sung by a guy.

Okay, the Marcia Griffiths song is the same one so if I find anything on Heartbeat I'll let you know.

The chorus goes:

Try a little smile every now and then,

Makes no difference where or when.

And yep it for sure is a male singer.

As for when it was released, I have no idea. It didn't sound that new but who knows.

earth-angel, even though you can't find what I'm looking for sometimes I appreciate your help all the same. And everyone else's. Why I'm on here all the time asking about so many songs is because the radio station I listen to has no DJs, just music so unless I recognize the voice I have no idea who's singing or what the song's called!
