Carl
Here's your chance to be a producer. My friend is working on a 2-hour show that will air on ABC Sports. It's about all the great moments of the past Super Bowls - think nostalgic shots like Montana with his finger in the air, Elway getting spun, or Brady doing his MacCauley Caulkin Home Alone impression after the win. He needs a song for the intro, preferably something that has to do with time, since it's a look back. The first Super Bowl was Jan. 15, 1967, so a song of that era would be ideal. RonJonSurfer
The Chambers Brothers "Time Has Come Today" (I think that's the actual song title). It's a pumping song. it has been used before in similar productions, but it is a great piece about time and of that era.

DJ Kat WQAQ98.1
Just for shits and giggles you should use "Backfield in Motion" by Mel and Tim
bluesboy
This is hard, because everybody has grown up with NFL Films version of music. + all us dinosaurs will remember the Voice of God - John Facenda with the narration each week. They always picked great background music. One selection for a late sixties song would be - A Hazy Shade of Winter ('66) - Simon and Garfunkel _ _ _ _ _ Time, time, time See what's become of me... ~ Paul Simon or if you spotlight a team from the West - 'How the West Was Won' Soundtrack ('62) ::
