Farin
no, not like myspace. yahoo started out as a search engine, but now they have numerous other features: e-mail service, an instant messenger, internet radio (Launchcast), games and tons of other stuff... _Laurie_
I just noticed yesterday that there's a new feature to "Export" the avatars from yahoo... if you click on that you can either get an embedded link, or - and that's what you want - the web address of a picture Shawna, you need a yahoo ID and then you can go here: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ Farin after we click on export and copy the address, do we have to put that in our Photobucket first? The Seeker
I think you could do that, but you can just post the link here...we'll have to click on it then, but that shouldn't be too hard.
Farin
yes, as Fin said, there's no need, since the link is specifically made for uses like this, so you can just post the link, or the picture
Farin
Me in Berlin in an Ice-cream parlour recently with friends from my language course (I'm the one in the picture who is female) at first I thought that there was a single giant ice-cream sundae on the picture but it was just the perspective

Iguana
I want the address of that parlour! The Sony Center in Potsdamer Platz which was formerly no-man's land between the former East and West Germany - it is now full of large modern buildings They also did ice-creams in the shape of hamburgers and pizzas which we all decided looked a bit 'wrong' Andy the guy in the middle who is from Kansas finished off everyone's ice-cream (most of us could only manage half) and threw up in bar shortly afterwards
_Laurie_
Peaches - how did you do that? I wanna give myself Pam Anderson boobs. Shawna I didn't see any choices for boob sizes...

Lucky
I want to know how you made that cartoon alter ego, Peaches... I've made one too Shawna. I've had it a while but updated it last night. Now if I can figure out how to post it here....
_Laurie_
Lucky, I tried the way Farin told me, for some reason it didn't work...I'm not good at this stuff..but I downloaded the picture from the yahoo site, and then uploaded in my photobucket album, then copied the address and posted it here...that worked. Farin
it could be that there are some differences, because I'm using a different browser... when you go on "Export" you can choose between either HTML or URL, you need to choose the second, this will give you a link to the picture that you can either post here, or upload in photobucket, imageshack or anywhere
_Laurie_
Oh that might be what I needed to do.....Oh Well, I got it on there somehow...Thanks for the help Farin!
