[*]1964 - Began performing with Sonny Bono as 'Caesar & Cleo'. [*]1965 - Changed name to 'Sonny and Cher'; reached Top Ten with singles Baby Don't Go (8th) and I Got You Babe (Number One). and I thought they were reasonably successful in the U.S. ?Lindisfarne is dead- long live Lindisfarne!? bazooka
WHO is the link to these 3 great singers? Frank Sinatra Buddy Holly Tom Jones Paul Anka "was credited with writing twelve songs that became gold records, most of which he recorded. However, Anka wrote a number of songs for others including My Way, Frank Sinatra's signature song. He also wrote It Doesn't Matter Anymore released by Buddy Holly just before his death. (And Paul Anka's performance was part of Buddy Holly & The Crickets Australian tour in 1957.) Anka's She's A Lady was a million seller for Tom Jones."
