OLD 55

Had songs covered by the Shirelles

Beatles - Baby It's You (or Boys)

Rod Stewart - Tonight's the Night

Manfred Mann - Sha La La

EDIT: Rod Stewart's should be Oh No, Not My Baby. His Tonight's the Night is the same title, different song. (A songanym?) :)

A SONGANYM???? I LOVE THAT!(BUT YOU DON'T GET ANY EXTRA POINTS FOR IT).

:coolio:CONGRATULATIONS ELVISH! A GREAT ANSWER. :coolio:

NEW QUESTION

Another "Artists with something in common". And Laurie's right - it does make it harder if the Beatles or Elvis are one of the 3 Artists in question. So maybe look at the other 2 first, because......

Q These 3 Artists all have well known songs with something in common (I don't think this one is very difficult).

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Monkees

Beatles

I'll check back after Dinner. Good Luck All. :)

Welcome to the European and Asian contingent (word for today), although you don't look Japanese Igor. I'm a big hit with the Japanese girls. When we've been at tourist spots they often "ask" me (by gestures) to take group photos of them. Either it's because I have a kind face, or they don't think I can run fast enough to get away with their cameras. :)

Sorry, no correct answer yet. Diggs, it was The Wiggles!

I didn't know they were still active! That means they've been around for 30 years, with various lineups.

yep i have no idea who is still in the band...Styx is opening up for them...it's funny I saw these two bands together in 79 and I think the tickets were only 7 bucks...not 50! ::

Q1. Who am I? Born in Texas, but achieved very little success in the U.S. Moved to the U.K. in the early 60s and had 5 Top 10 Hits there 1964/65 - 2 of them from a famous Stage Musical (later filmed). Also was engaged to Dean Martin's daughter at one stage.

Q2. This gent had one really big U.S. Hit in the mid 70s. It was #1 here in Australia and #2 in the U.K. I've never seen a photo of him before. Maybe you'll know him better. Who is he?
