Aunt_Acid
A terrible show, but I think I just realized why the theme song was Sgt. Peppers. Because the singer is introduced as Billy Shears, and Billy has two syllables, just like Wonder, and shears rhymes with years. Billy Shears; Wonder Years. Coincidence? I think so. Jimmy1104
Coincidence? I think so I think not. Unless they added more to the intro in reruns all I ever heard was Joe Cocker's version of With A Little Help From My Friends. BTW, I found the show to be one of the better ones on the air back then. It was a show about my era when I was Kevin's age hence it parallelled my childhood.
Uncle Joe
The only impression I ever got when that show was on was of that terrible bread.
_Laurie_
I only heard Joe Cocker's version for the theme song...I loved that show!....I always felt sorry for Kevin, coz his brother was such a jerk to him...but I guess that's how some brothers are...I only have sisters. ::

Tenacious_Peaches
Are you saying it doesn't build strong bodies twelve ways? You boys can mock all you like, but I can't get Wonder Bread down here, and I actually miss it. There is nothing like a peanut butter and Fluff (which I also cannot get) sandwich on Wonder Bread. Mmmmmmmm...Fluff....
_Laurie_
I heard one time the group Bread named their band after a Wonder Bread truck that they were following along a highway for hours...can anyone confirm that? or heard of that?

Elvish
I liked the show, too. Was about the same age as the characters on the show. It reminded me of when I wish I had grown up. Did anyone else think Fred Savage was dreamy?
_jr_
I liked the fact that it was about realizing life was bigger than your own little world. It touched on a lot of issues of that time. Nam, Apollo 13, flower children, things such as that. Also, it covered things that happen in every generation. Schoolhood crushes, the ideals of friendship. Sibling rivalry. I could identify with a lot of the things Kevin Arnold went through. I remember how it freaked me out to see one of my teachers outside school. It was like they were .... human. I also remember one of my teachers passing away. Too human. A lot of good things about that show.

Batman
i fancied the pants off fred savage! sorry, but being American, I find that hilarious! I know what it means, but it just doesn't translate well from Euro-speak to Ameri-speak.

Shawna
I remember how it freaked me out to see one of my teachers outside school. It was like they were .... human I hear you there, Jr. I remember the first time I ever saw one of my teachers outside the classroom it was at the grocery store. It was so weird. I always thought teachers just disappeared into the blackboard at the end of the school day.
ImThatGuyToo
Once, I had a substitute teacher, and on the same day that she taught us 3rd grade, she was my family's server at a resteraunt we went out to eat at. That basically blew my mind. Oh, and I also loved the Wonder Years. PS: I'm still alive and I still check the forums from time to time
Batman
One time, I saw my math teacher watering flowers in front of his house. And it was a pretty nice house. I no longer take his poor teacher jokes seriously. His wife probably has a job. I also once saw my english teacher renting a video. He got "The Life Of Brian"
