_jr_
I was driving home this evening, listening to Sinatra, and 'Luck Be A Lady' came on. Who is the woman singing with him? I have heard this song hundreds of times, and always loved that woman's voice. I hunted around, but couldn't find who it is.

bluesboy
I don't recall any duets in the '60s albums unless it's like a female singer sittin' in for a couple of songs at a live Vegas show recording (like rat pack or Basie). I'll sift thru that Sinatra list also.

ryansgirl319
Was it Peggy Lee? In searching for the answer I found that Frank did a version of McAurthur Park. I would hate to be the one to leave old blue eyes' cake out in the rain. You would end up with a black eye or worse.
Uncle Joe
I'll do some checking but the only woman I've heard Frank do a duet with on Luck Be A Lady was Ella Fitzgerald.
edna
Frank Sinatra recorded "Luck be a Lady" with Chrissie Hynde and it was released on his album "Duets II", in 1994. So that woman you heard is the Pretender´s voice, Jr. here

The version you more than likely heard was off the Duets 2 album. If you're looking for some great compilations those are the albums to get. Uncle Joe
Just keep in mind that the on the Duets CD's the songs were recorded seperately. Frank was never in the same room or even the same state with his partners on these "duets". Electronic garbage (one man's opinion)...and I happen to be a big fan of Frank's. Yeah I'm aware... the match ups are interesting even if htey didn't record them together. There was talk about doing a Duets 3 a few years ago (post-mortem of course) but it never came to pass. Does anyone remember the SNL sketch about the Frank Duet recordings... it was an on going one... i remember one with Eddie Murphy as Stevie Wonder and I can't remember who as Frank doing Ebony and Ivory. _jr_
Well, I know for sure it's not the one with Chrissie Hynde. How can I put a link up here for others to listen to it?
