I've heard this song on the radio, but don't what it's called. I know a few lines, "When you look around at your world pretty baby, is it all that you thought it would be. The wrong guy and the wrong situation. The right time, the road to me." If you know the name of this song or who sings it please let me know. I'd appreciat it, thanks!

Roll To Me

by Del Amitri

Look around your world pretty baby

Is it everything you'd hoped it'd be?

The wrong guy, the wrong situation

The right time to roll to me

Roll to me

Look into your heart pretty baby

Is it aching with some nameless need?

Is there something wrong and you can't put your finger on it

Right then roll to me

And I don't think I have ever seen

A soul so in despair(ooooooooooo)

So if you want to talk the night through

Guess who will be there?(yeahhhhhhhhhhhh)

So don't try to deny it pretty baby

You've been down so long you can hardly see

When the engine's stalled and it won't stop raining it's the

Right time to roll to me

Roll to me

Roll to me

And I don't think I have ever seen

A soul so in despair

So if you want to talk the night through

Guess who will be there?

So look around your world pretty baby

Is it everything you'd hoped it'd be?

The wrong guy, the wrong situation

The right time to roll to me

The right time to roll to me

the right time to roll to me...ooohhh

Thanks, Tynan, I'll be singing this all day now! :headphones:

When I heard this song, I thought the lyric was "It's the right time, the wrong me." It made a beautiful statement on how you can meet the perfect person, but if the timing isn't right, it just doesn't work. In this case, the timing is right, but the person is wrong. Anyway, I was disappointed to find out the lyric was actually "Roll To Me," which means pretty much nothing.

I saw Del Amitri in concert after this came out. They explained that they didn't want to play it, but knew they had to - it became their curse.
