Space Cowboy
I head the song a million times, but can't put a title or band to it. It goes," Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, try and love one another right now." Old woodstock type song. The other song i heard i dont' have as much info on, I just know it goes " take me to the river," then "tak me to the water" i think. so any help would be great

ryansgirl319
Al Green did the original version of "Take Me to the River," and it is amazing, as all Al Green songs are.
SoulGirl
amen to that!!! take me to the river also features in the irish movie 'the commitments' about a dublin soul band - andrew strong sings it (he was only 16 when the movie and soundtrack were made!) and it's pretty good too!
