_jr_
And here's a thread of slow jamming lead solos to prove it. Stranglehold ~ Ted Nugent Hitch a Ride ~ Boston Little Wing ~ Stevie Ray Vaughan (my personal favorite version) Comfortably Numb ~ Pink Floyd (Dave Gilmour) Just to start it off. RonJonSurfer
Mr. Clapton has many that fit the category. Very expressive note bending and feel. "Have You Ever Loved A Woman", "Let It Grow" "Wonderful Tonight"...so many. George Harrison too...listen to "Something"...that's a winner. :guitar:

Batman
Dazed And Confused-Led Zeppelin Well the song was slow, but the guitar solo was blazingly fast. Still a favorite solo, though. Nice choices, with the Santana. He's a good guitarist. I'm not a big fan of latin rock, but there is no denying he's an incredibly talented guitarist. How about "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy. It is a slow guitar solo, which isn't difficult at all, but it sounds really cool.
