Nov 25 - The now famous "Thanksgiving Revolt" occurs, when some 17,000 turkeys crash the gates at a Chuck Berry/Chubby Checker concert and procede to douse the crowd with mashed potatoes and gravy. Both Berry and Checker were taken to a local hospital for emergency treatment, but were later released.

Dec 5 - Chuck Berry is arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct after allegedly exposing himself outside a Jackson, Mississippi, high school. Berry's lawyer, Johnny Cochrane, brings forth the original "If it doesn't fit, then you must acquit" defense, after a condom is attempted to be fitted on Mr. Berry during the court proceedings. Berry is expeditiously acquitted on all charges.

Dec 10 - Chuck Berry is arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct after alledgedly exposing himself outside a Biloxi, Mississippi high school. Johnny Cochrane refuses to take the case. Berry receives five years probation.

Dec 31 - A New Year's Eve party at Grace Slick's apartment complex is interrupted by gang violence and fire. Three partygoers are killed and 9 are injured after four leather-clad men wearing far too much makeup and calling themselves the "Knights In Satan's Service" break into the complex using axes and knives. One of the intruders, who goes only by the name, "The Demon" allegedly started the fire when he breathed. "The Demon" was one of the injured.
