ImThatGuyToo 0
I heard this song on the radio and I thought it was really cool. Is this band a one-hit-wonder or have they been hiding from me? They remind of me of ELO and Yes (for some reason). Any thoughts>
InsaneTim 0
Definitly not one-hit. Other big hits are "The Logical Song" and "Goodbye Stranger". I'm having a brainfart day so I can't think of anything else.

edna 6
I would recomend three albums: "Even in the quietest moments"- a bunch of beautifull songs. "Crisis? What crisis'". great music arrangements. "Crime of the Century", only side A. I don´t like them but I like their music. "The Logical Song" is very good too.
windy1 0
You know, I don't know anything about Supertramp, the individuals, or the band as a whole. But I like most of thier music.
johnnyguitar 0
For reasons that escape me...one of the things I remember about them is that their drummer...one Bob. C. Benburg, was Scott Gorham's (Thin Lizzie) brother -in-law.....how's that for trivia? ::
josef 0
I love SUPERTRAMP Autobiography was a good album... It had all the good hit songs... Give a little bit was a good strumming song.... YEAHHHH!! :guitar:
TenYearsGone 0
"School" is an excellent early song of theirs, don't know which album it's from though. More trivia: They had a sax player who was a baseball player from California.

miamisammy29 4
"Crime of the Century" An outstanding album!! "School" has one of the best piano solos you will ever hear anywhere. Awesome song!!
edna 6
"School" has one of the best piano solos you will ever hear anywhere. Awesome song!! Absolutelly...! I used to listen to that song twenty years ago with super headphones...
Kevin 3
"Rudy" , "Give a Little Bit" and "From Now On" just to fill out the list a little more. I'd recommend a greatest hits CD if they are new to you as the one I have "The Very Best of Supertramp" (Polygram) has nearly all the songs listed above, and is rarely out of my car's CD changer . Crank 'er up and enjoy-- you'll likely get caught speeding or be seen singing along like a freak by others , though: "Goodbye stranger, it's been nice, hope you find your, paradise..." ! ::
Aunt_Acid 1
I just heard it on the radio the other day too, ThatGuy. WCSX. I loved it. I like any band with a Wurlitzer Electric Piano.
big_man_pig_man 0
"School" has one of the best piano solos you will ever hear anywhere. Awesome song!! i'd have to disagree, it is catchy though... but i wouldn't say it's one of the best you'll hear anywhere...it ain't that good ::
big_man_pig_man 0
"School" is an excellent early song of theirs, don't know which album it's from though. it's not a very good song, really. lot's of others have done a whole lot better with the 'we don't need no education' type song. including the floyd, men at work -"Be Good Johnny"... The Logic Song is where S.T. got it right on that whole theme.
ImThatGuyToo 0
94.7 WSCX is one of my favorite radio stations of all time... have you heard 93.1 lately? They canned all their DJ's and installed a robot, and they play some classic rock now; that's where I heard it.
Aunt_Acid 1
Really? I hate WCSX. I just listen to it because it's the only classic rock station (that I know of). And yeah, 93.1 (or DOUG FM as they like to call themselves now) reformatted and they supposedly play everything, but usually I hear 80s pop and classic rock everytime I turn to the station. Also the DJ who does the bumps is incredibly irritating. I can't stand him. Do you listen to Nights With Alice Cooper?
ImThatGuyToo 0
Yeah, they have Nights with Alice Cooper on CSX, I tune in when I can. I suppose it's my favorite station simply because it's my only choice for classic rock. 106.7 is another station I switch to now and then, also 104.3 WOMC, I know it's oldies, but I heard Layla (not unplugged) on there once (!) and they play good Beatles.
