RonJonSurfer Posted May 10, 2005 Report Share Posted May 10, 2005 The Beatles' Album Cover Secret Revealed The Beatles' album cover for their classic 1965 disc 'Help!' was shot in a grim English parking lot - not the glamorous Austrian location originally believed by fans. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr posed in their semaphore positions in Twickenham, Middlesex. The band's historian Keith Badman says, "Most Beatles fans think that the famous photograph on the front of the 'Help!' album was done in Austria."
