Released five years ago (2000), '1' has become the Fab Four's sixth 10 million seller, according to the RIAA. The group's other five diamond awards were earned for sales of 'The Beatles', 'The Beatles 1967-1970', 'The Beatles 1962-1966', 'Abbey Road' and 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. The only act close to matching the Beatles' feat is Led Zeppelin, who have five diamond-level titles. Meanwhile, The Eagles' 'Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975' remains the biggest selling album ever by a million sales. The hits album has sold 28 million copies, while Michael Jackson's second-placed 'Thriller' has sold 27 million.
