RonJonSurfer Posted April 26, 2005 Report Share Posted April 26, 2005 Elton John Planning to Marry Lover in December Elton John hopes to marry his lover David Furnish in a civil ceremony in December - even though he will be too busy to take his dream man away for a romantic honeymoon. The "Candle in the Wind" icon plans to take immediate advantage of the new British legislation coming into effect on December 5 which will allow same sex couples to be legally recognized as a civil partnership. And Elton is already making arrangements to follow in British royal Prince Charles' footsteps when he married Camilla Parker Bowles earlier this month - by exchanging vows in Windsor, England. The 58-year-old entertainer says, "We definitely want to do it around the middle of December, probably in Windsor. But there will be no honeymoon. I'm on tour."
