Fans of Kurt Cobain get ready to make a new pilgrimage. The place where Kurt Cobain grew up is to pay homage to the late rocker by adding one of his most famous songs, Come As You Are, to all of its signposts.

It's just one idea residents of Aberdeen, Washington have come-up with to pay tribute to the legacy of one of their most famous sons. A locally-funded Kurt Cobain Memorial Committee is also planning to re-name a local park and a youth centre after the troubled Nirvana mainman.

"We paid $750 to replace the 'Welcome To Aberdeen' sign, which was rusted and had a bullet hole in it," femalefirst reports Memorial committee co-chairman Jeff Burlingame as saying. "Several people have contacted us and intend to make pilgrimages to pay their respects. I believe this new sign will, by far, be the most photographed landmark in the city."

At this rate there'll be a Kurt Cobain theme park with rollercoasters before long.
