RonJonSurfer
Pearl Jam's Slow Approach Pays Off Pearl Jam is reveling in the creative freedom they've acquired since leaving the record label Epic, and promise fans their seventh album will be "awesome". The rockers are only halfway through recording their as-yet-untitled album and are refusing to announce a release date - but they're convinced their new relaxed approach to music making will have spectacular results. Guitarist Mike McCready says, "(We're) not anywhere close to being done. We're about halfway there." "It's going to be a really awesome record, and I'm not just saying that like every band member says it. It's been really exciting." "How we're recording it is a first. We've been recording for a while, and then we'll sit down and listen to the songs and then take a couple of weeks off, come back and re-record them and add stuff."
