Foxy
'A View To A Kill' has just come on ITV for our English viewers.... I forgot how much I loved the theme song by Duran Duran ~ and the titles with the women dancing around in luminous paint/ribbons/flames! Whats your favourite Bond theme tune and whats your favourite title sequence??
Tenacious_Peaches
I am a Duran Duran groupie, so obviously I love "A View to a Kill". "Nobody Does it Better" by Carly Simon. Classic. "For Your Eyes Only" by a pre-Prince skank Sheena Easton. "Live and Let Die" by Sir Paul and Wings. I had to look them up because I couldn't remember all of the theme songs. Apparently a-ha did one for "The Living Daylights". That poor movie stunk so bad it couldn't even have a decent song. Forgive me, a-ha lovers. CanAm
The theme from Thunderball as sung by Tom Jones and For Your Eyes Only as sung by Sheena Easton. I like all of the opening sequences as they are variations of the same theme.

DJ Kat WQAQ98.1
"Nobody Does it Better" by Carly Simon. Classic. "Live and Let Die" by Sir Paul and Wings. I think Live and let Die was one of the best movies. You have to love the openning bits with the New Orleans funeral processsion, and the part in the middle when he runs across the alligator pit! (And Jane Seymour looked amazing in this movie too.)
Steel2Velvet
Until Mad Dogs and Englishmen by Joe Cocker at al, the only movie soundtrack I ever bought was Goldfinger. I was 15 when I saw that movie in a theatre with surround sound and huge speakers. The opening montage drew me in as Shirley Bassey's voice blew me away! That last note of the title song went on forever and after the dust settled .... the movie was just starting. Wow!
